BMW with a vehicle I can afford...

BMW’s ‘CLEVER’ concept completed | Leftlane News - Car News For Enthusiasts

Really, given the price of fuel these days, coupled with the state of our environment - how can we not afford to consider something like this? It is the perfect commuting vehicle - light, fuel efficient, and clean.

Nice work... I can't wait to see this roll off the end of the production line, it cannot be a minute too soon!!

Google's online word processor...

Well, my good friends at Google (ok, they don't know me at all ;) have bought up a piece of the action - an online word processor called upstartle.

This is more or less the way of the future, and Google has the headstart on Microsoft (let's not get into the history of this, but suffice it to say... Microsoft had the real headstart, but they missed the boat thus far ;)

I can see online applications and streaming applications to be the way of the future - I mean who has time for all of this updating, and upgrading and crap?

Wow... you've gotta love the innovation!!

Google calendar in the works...

TechCrunch » Exclusive Screenshots: Google Calendar

Now, I have been nagging and whining like a small child for a while now... needing a calendar in GMail (though I am certainly not alone on this request).

Looks beautiful... a thing of wonder even.

Open standards, indexed, searchable, all on a webpage.

Look out Microsoft :)

Check out the screen shots on the link above!!

Gmail for domains and business...

This is the announcement that I have been waiting for... the Googleheads are looking at selling this as a service to business (or at least one would expect that they would plan to charge for this service).

I am awaiting the release of an open standards calendar, that would hook into Google Desktop, and allow for inviting people to meetings across domains and mail systems.

Google has not let me down thus far, so I am counting on them to pull through with the calendar next :)

p.s. Thanks for the delete button guys, now where's the keyboard shortcut.

Gmail and Google Talk - slick!!

I was just checking my gmail this afternoon when I noticed a new choice under "starred" called "chats"

I checked it out, and voila - there I can store all of my chat histories - where I can search them all using the same GMail interface.

Now THAT is slick.

Now Google - where is that keyboard shortcut that I ordered? I want to delete my messages without my mouse ;)

Nice buttons... but what about Firefox??

Well, I must say that the new google toolbar beta features sound good, but where is the firefox version?

C'mon Google - I'm waiting :)

Arcade games rule...

Just found this gem online.

For those that lived (and played video games) through the eighties, check out the link. Very cool stuff.

If you think you can multitask, then check it out and get back to me!

The world's first silent PC

Just when you thought that you had seen it all... something else comes along.

Let me introduce to you the world's first (to my knowledge) completely silent PC.

Truly incredible... people with extra time and money - what will they come up with next??

IronPort and SPAM

IronPort to rate Web links in spam fight | Tech News on ZDNet

I have been following IronPort for a few years now, and they have done great work... this is an exceptional step forward. I would like to say that they are a step ahead of the bad guys, but that is essentially impossible. Evildoers are always one step ahead :)

If you are not familiar with reputation scoring, check out IronPort's website. Very innovative stuff in my opinion.

Keep up the good work IronPort!

It's funny...

How the little things in life excite me... but if it were not for the little things, life just wouldn't be worth living. Think about it.

The folks at Google have answered one of my prayers and have finally added the delete button to the Gmail interface. This is part of a longer list of features that I have wanted.

Official Google Blog: It's in the mail...

Frankly - I am having a hard time getting used to clicking that button - I am so trained (like the monkey that I am) to use the dropdown list to delete message. Ah well, with time my course will be corrected.

If you don't have Gmail, you should get on the bandwagon now - it's truly revolutionary. I am certain you didn't hear that here first.... but still, get while the gettin's good. Everyone else is just a wannabe.

I can hardly wait to see what is next... but I am HOPING that the next thing up is a keyboard shortcut for delete :)

C'mon Google - I'm waiting :)
