Google's online word processor...

Well, my good friends at Google (ok, they don't know me at all ;) have bought up a piece of the action - an online word processor called upstartle.

This is more or less the way of the future, and Google has the headstart on Microsoft (let's not get into the history of this, but suffice it to say... Microsoft had the real headstart, but they missed the boat thus far ;)

I can see online applications and streaming applications to be the way of the future - I mean who has time for all of this updating, and upgrading and crap?

Wow... you've gotta love the innovation!!

Now, I have been nagging and whining like a small child for a while now... needing a calendar in GMail (though I am certainly not alone on this request).

Looks beautiful... a thing of wonder even.

Open standards, indexed, searchable, all on a webpage.

Look out Microsoft :)
